Chipmonk Cookie Jar by McCoy, circa 1960-61. Marked; McCoy USA. Not to be confused with the Squirrel. Many believe this is a Squirrel but the term Chipmunk derived from Red Squirrel or Chip Squirrel is not what McCoy made. McCoy also spelled the word Chipmonk rather than Chipmunk. The jar is from a private collection and is in excellent condition.
