McCoy Apollo Missle Decanter. circa 1968. Marked: MCP. This is a 10" Decanter that was commissioned by the Old Stanley Distillery (Thomas W. Sims Distillery) in 1968. It was followed in 1969 by the LEM (Landing Craft) Decanter and the Astronaut Decanter. The three were produced to honor the Apollo flights. The Missle was the only decanter widely produced as the other two had top sealing problems and production ceased. The original contents are gone and the seal broken but the item is in mint condition and from a private collection.
